- U.S. lmports: According to the Semiconductor Industry Association and the U.S. Bureau of Economic Analysis, in 2024 the U.S. imported an estimated $400 billion of electronic products to include consumer electronics, industrial electronics, and electronic components.
- Harmonized Tariff Schedule: ‘‘Electronics’’ to consist of merchandise classified under headings 3818, 8471, 8473, 8501 through 8504, 8517 through 8538, and 8540 through 8548 of the HTSUS.
- West Virginia’s Industry: According to the U.S. Bureau of Economic Analysis, in 2024 West Viriginia produced an estimated $600 million of electronic products.
